Types of Jinn Possession and How It Effects Humans

In The article we are going to explain about the details of Jinn Possession, Types of Possession, and their Effects.

A total Possession: The Jinn possesses the whole body of a person, such as the one who suffers from seizures.

A partial Possession: The Jinn possesses one particular organ of the body, such as an arm, leg or tongue.

Constant Possession: The Jinn possesses the body for a long period of time.

Temporary Possession: Which lasts no more than a few minutes, like a nightmare.

Types of Jinn Possession and How It Effects Humans

Regional Possession (Ta’ifa): i.e. “passing by, comes and goes (not permanent). Allah says: And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is all Hearing and Knowing. Indeed, those who fear Allah – when an impulse touches them from Satan, they remember [Him] and at once they have insight (Surat Al-‘A`rāf 7:200; 7:201) – And I seek refuge in you, my Lord, lest they be present with me (Surat Al-Mu’minūn 23:98)

Regional possession: i.e. “passing by Is a type of possession that occurs as a seizure in ones sleep when one can’t breathe, move or speak. It happens so quick it could be just seconds or minutes, in some cases if not all, the jinn does this from outside, usually it is a flying type jinn.

Projectory Possession (Aarid): A true type of possession that is passing by which take possession of a person for a specific time for hours during the day or night then leaves the body and comes back the next day, week, month, year or perhaps leaves the body and does not come back at all. May Allah keep them out. From research some patient feel the departure of the jinn leaving the body in the form of a sensation resembling that of a sudden shaking or shiver of one of the legs, or a strong air leaving through the mouth….etc., especially when the jinn knows that he/she will be recited on, he/she leave the body.

Accompanying Possession (Ikthiraan): Is a true type of possession that the jinn permanently takes possession of one part of the body such as the leg, womb, spine or it can take possession of the whole body, day and night when asleep or awake, it becomes as if it is a part of the body.

External Possession (Khariji): External possession is a type of possession where the jinn accompanies the person full time or part time. It is mentioned in a Hadith in Sahih Muslim narrated by Huthayfah, that when they sat down with the prophet ( ﷺ ) to eat they would wait until the prophet started, a young girl was approaching the food as if she was getting pushed from an unknown force, as she reached out for the food the prophet ( ﷺ ) grabbed her hand, the same happened to a Bedouin Arab, he reached his hand to grab the food, the prophet ( ﷺ ) grabbed his hand too. The prophet ( ﷺ ) said that the Shaytan make lawful for themselves food that has not been mentioned the name of Allah. The jinn has the ability to take form of a human being or animal, that can have a physical touch on a person, or he can sit on a person’s back, causing heaviness, tightness of the chest, whispering, anger, or comes to a person when he is asleep and presses on a point in the brain to cause seizure. The shaytan can take form of an insect or animal and moves around the person’s body and clothing, causing scratches, bruises or blows in his face to frighten the person so that he/she can’t go to sleep, the jinn can take form of a beautiful woman/man to have sexual relationships with.

Transitus Possession (Mu’tadi): This type of possession is where more than one person is afflicted simultaneously by a single jinn mostly from the same relation of the one who is suffering. For one reason or another this is why it is called transitus (Meaning: to pass over or cross through). It could be one or more jinn that can be accompanied with a group (family, gang, clan, slaves or prisoners) in this possession. It could be an external attack, that’s why a person can go to a Raaqi but to no affect, because the jinn is in the wife/ husband / mother / friend ect….

Imaginary Possession (Wahmi): “This type is of delusion is the most dangerous and the most common”. Imaginary epilepsy is the result of mixing with those who are possessed, then starting to imagine oneself is afflicted with the same symptoms, or the healer suggests to the patient that he/she is afflicted. Perhaps this is one of the ways the shayateen take advantage from the situation by taking authority over the mind to make him think that it is a fact that he is possessed, when reading on him/her the person will fall, scream and shout as if it is a jinn. Imaginary possession is the worst type of illness. It starts of with an idea then it becomes a belief leading to actions, which is all an autosuggestion. There is no cure for this but for the opposite of the real possession, sihr and ayn witchcraft, Allah has given us the cure (Ruqya).

False pretense: Some patient who go back and fourth to the Raaqi, with their own agenda and goals by coming attending the sessions when reading on them occurs they scream and shout saying I am here for such and such sihr, but really the patient is not possessed or afflicted in anyway by any member the world of the unseen. This is a very dangerous situation for the person who’s acting and lying, the jinn may see this as a mockery to their world, it is possible they will attack and cause harm. All of this is to seek attention from others, or to have an excuse for their bad actions.

Jinn Presence and Departure

Just as there are many different types of people, there are many types of jinn. Most people think when one is possessed by a jinni he/she must behave in a certain way; this is wrong and is a bad understanding of the reality of demonology. The influence of jinn on humans can be divided into a number of categories:

Presence of Waswasah: (suggestions/whispering) It is an overpowering form of possession which is tiring and stressful for the patient, making them cry, laugh and become angry without any real explanation. This type of presence of the jinn could last for hours, days or for the whole lifespan of the patient causing anxiety, stress, depression and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This is very stressful for both the patient and their family.

Influence on the brain of the patient: The jinni uses the brain to control the human senses, nervous system, muscles, and does not suffer too much from carrying the body of the patient. This may last for a few minutes, days or perhaps most of the person life. An example of this type of possession is ‘madness’.

Influence on the mind of the patient (without possession): This type of possession is the same as the previous one (influence on the brain of the patient), but without possessing the body or the nervous system.

Influence on the patient’s body: The jinni takes possession of one part of the patient’s body causing back pain, headache and may lead to loss of hearing or eyesight. This occurs whilst the patient is fully awake and may last for several days as the jinni can take possession of just one area of the body; as in the case of paralysis of the legs caused by jinn possession. It is more apparent when the person is receiving ruqyah or following a Ruqya program.

The dual presence: In this type of case, if you wish to speak to the patient or to the jinni you can do so. It is a very confusing experience for the Raqi, even more confusing for family members who do not believe or are in denial of jinn possession.

Full presence: This type of possession is when a jinni takes full control of the person from head to toe.

The Jinn Effects

SPIRITUAL – The Jinn effect a person spiritually. Their ultimate goal is to take a person away from Allah and outside of Islam. They achieve this through making a person lazy to perform salah, until they leave it. Difficult to recite Qur’an, until they stop it. Unmotivated to study Islam, until they abandon it. Slowly taking a toll on the person’s eeman (faith), until they destroy it.

PSYCHOLOGICAL – The Jinn effect a person psychologically. Whether it is for revenge, sent through Magic or out of love, their objective is to fulfill their task and desires. They achieve this through getting to the person’s heart and into their minds. Through waswaas they can cause severe mood swings leading to depression, anxiety, anger as well as extreme lust and lewd behavior. This taking a toll on the person’s life until it is destroyed.

PHYSICAL – The Jinn effect a person physically just as they effect psychologically. Being afflicted in the heart and mind has a direct effect on the physical state and health of a person. Jinn can cause medical illnesses, unexplained pains and bruises as well as sexual abuse by possessing and living inside of a person. This taking a toll on the person’s overall well being and health until it is destroyed.

Duas in Islam for protection From Jinn, Asaib, Sahir, Witchcraft, Evil eye and Envy

One of the greatest means of protecting and combating oneself against the evil effects of witchcraft ,evil eye/envy and jinn is to persist in regularly reciting the Duas in Islam for protection From Jinn, Asaib, Sahir, Witchcraft, Evil eye and Envy adhkaar .They prevent against witchcraft ,evil eye/envy and jinn possession before it happens, protecting one against it and warding off its evil, and remedying it if it does happen.

Those who have tried these supplications prayers for refuge on a regular basis morning and evening know their value and benefit and how a great need there is for them.

A'udhu bi kalimat Allaah al-taammaat min sharri ma khalaq

"I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of what He has created."

أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق
Say in the morning and in the evening (thrice):

A'udhu bi kalimaat-Allaah il-taammah min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli 'aynin laammah

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and poisonous reptile, and from every envious evil eye. (thrice):

أعوذ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِن كُلِّ شَيطَانٍ وَهَامَّة ، وَمِن كُلِّ عَينٍ لَامَّة
‘A`ūdhu Bikalimātil-Lāhit-Tāmmāti Min Ghađabihi Wa `Iqābih, Wa Sharri `Ibādihi Wa Min Hamazātish-Shayāţīni Wa ‘An Yaĥđurūn. (thrice):

'I take refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the madness and appearance of devils.'

أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من غضبه وعقابه، وشر عباده ومن همزات الشياطين وأن يحضرون.
"Bismillahi alladhi la yadurru ma' ismihi shai'un fil-ardi wa-laa fil-samaa'i wa huwa al-Samee'u al-'Aleem" (thrice):

"In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on the earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."

بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ العَلِيْمُ.
Ĥasbiyal-Lāhu Lā ‘Ilāha ‘Illā Huwa `Alayhi Tawakkaltu Wa Huwa Rabbul-`Arshil-`Ažīm.

(seven times morning & evening)

'Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne.' (seven times morning and evening)

حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ العَرْشِ العَظِيْمِ. (سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ حِيْنَ يُصْبِحُ وَيُمْسِي
Yā Ĥayyu Yā Qayyūmu Biraĥmatika ‘Astaghīth, ‘Aşliĥ Lī Sha’nī Kullah, Wa Lā Takilnī ‘Ilá Nafsī Ţarfata `Ayn.

'O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye.'

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ.
Al-Lahumma Rabbas-Samawātis-Sab`i Wa Rabbal-`Arshil-`Ažīm, Rabbanā Wa Rabba Kulli Shay’, Fāliqal-Ĥabbi Wan-Nawá, Wa Munazzilat-Tawrāti Wal-’Injīl, Wal-Furqān, ‘A`ūdhu Bika Min Sharri Kulli Shay’in ‘Anta ‘Ākhidhun Bināşiyatih. Al-Lahumma ‘Antal-’Awwalu Falaysa Qablaka Shay’, Wa ‘Antal-’Ākhiru Falaysa Ba`daka Shay’, Wa ‘Antaž-Žāhiru Falaysa Fawqaka Shay’, Wa ‘Antal-Bāţinu Falaysa Dūnaka Shay’,

'O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and the exalted throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the date stone, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injeel and the Furqan, I take refuge in You from the evil of all things You shall seize by the forelock (i.e. You have total mastery over). O Allah, You are The First so there is nothing before You and You are The Last so there is nothing after You.

You are Aththahir so there is nothing above You and You are Al-Batin so there is nothing closer than

Tawrah: The book revealed to Moosa

Injeel: The book revealed to Easa

Furqan: One of the many names of the Quran, means: The Criterion which distinguishes between truth and falsehood.

Aththahir: Indicates the greatness of His attributes and the insignificance of every single creation in respect to His greatness and Highness, for He is above all of His creation as regards His essence and attributes.

Al-Batin: Indicates His awareness and knowledge of all secrets, of that which is in the hearts and the most intimate of things just as it indicates His closeness and nearness to all in a manner which befits His majesty.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبَّ العَرْشِ العَظِيْمِ، رَبَّنَا وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيءٍ، فَالِقَ الحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى، وَمُنَزِّلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنْجِيْلِ، وَالفُرْقَانِ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيءٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الأَوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيءٌ، وَأَنْتَ البَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُوْنَكَ شَيءٌ.
Al-Lahumma ‘Innī `Abduk, ‘Ibnu `Abdik, ‘Ibnu ‘Amatik, Nāşiyatī Biyadik, Māđin Fīya Ĥukmuk, `Adlun Fīya Qađā’uuk, ‘As’aluka Bikullis-Min Huwa Lak, Sammayta Bihi Nafsak, ‘Aw ‘Anzaltahu Fī Kitābik, ‘Aw `Allamtahu ‘Aĥadan Min Khalqik, ‘Awis-Ta’tharta Bihi Fī `Ilmil-Ghaybi `Indak, ‘An Taj`alal-Qur’āna Rabī`a Qalbī, Wa Nūra Şadrī, Wa Jalā’a Ĥuznī, Wa Dhahāba Hammī.

'O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant, my forelock is in Your hand (i.e. You have total mastery over), Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety.'

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ, ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ, ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ, نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ, أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اِسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ, سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ, أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ, أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ, أَنْ تَجْعَلَ القُرْآنَ رَبِيْعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُوْرَ صَدْرِي, وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي, وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي.
Al-Lahumma Raĥmataka ‘Arjū Falā Takilnī ‘Ilá Nafsī Ţarfata `Ayn, Wa ‘Aşliĥ Lī Sha’nī Kullahu Lā ‘Ilāha ‘Illā ‘Ant.

'O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye and rectify for me all of my affairs.None has the right to be worshipped except You.'

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ.
He should also recite the following verse:

(huwal-’Awwalu Wal-’Ākhiru Waž-Žāhiru Wal-Bāţinu Wa Huwa Bikulli Shay’in `Alīm).

'He is The First and The Last, Aththahir and Al-Batin and He knows well all things.'

Al-Lahumma Lā Sahla ‘Illā Mā Ja`altahu Sahlā, Wa ‘Anta Taj`alul-Ĥazana ‘Idhā Shi’ta Sahlā.

'O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy, and You make the difficulty, if You wish, easy.'

اللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزَنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً.
Al-Lahumma ‘Innī ‘A`ūdhu Bika ‘An ‘Ushrika Bika Wa ‘Anā ‘A`lam, Wa ‘Astaghfiruka Limā Lā ‘A`lam.

'O Allah, I take refuge in You lest I should commit shirk with You knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.'

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لا أَعْلَمُ.
‘A`ūdhu Bikalimātil-Lāhit-Tāmmātil-Latī Lā Yujāwizuhunna Barrun Wa Lā Fājirun Min Shsharri Mā Khalaq, Wa Bara’a Wa Dhara’, Wa Min Sharri Mā Yanzilu Minas-Samā‘i Wa Min Sharri Mā Ya`ruju Fīhā, Wa Min Sharri Mā Dhara’a Fīl-’Arđi Wa Min Sharri Mā Yakhruju Minhā, Wa Min Sharri Fitanil-Layli Wan-Nahār, Wa Min Sharri Kulli Ţāriqin ‘Illā Ţāriqan Yaţruqu Bikhayrin Yā Raĥman.

'I take refuge within Allah's perfect words which no righteous or unrighteous person can transgress, from all the evil that He has created, made and originated. (I take refuge) from the evil that descends from the sky and the evil that rises up to it. (I take refuge) from the evil that is spread on Earth and the evil that springs from her, and I take refuge from the evil of the tribulations of night and day, and the evil of one who visits at night except the one who brings good, O Merciful One.'


أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات التي لا يجاوزهن بر ولا فاجر من شر ما خلق، وبرأ وذرأ، ومن شر ما ينزل من السماء ومن شر ما يعرج فيها، ومن شر ما ذرأ في الأرض ومن شر ما يخرج منها، ومن شر فتن الليل والنهار، ومن شر كل طارق إلا طارقا يطرق بخير يا رحمن.

‘Allah-humma, anta rabbi, laa ilaaha illaa Anta, ‘alaika tawakkaltu wa anta rabbul ‘arshil kareem maashaa Allahu kaana wa maLam yasha’ lam yakun-wa laa hawla wa lla quwwata illaa bil-Laahil A’liyyil ‘Atheem. A’lamu annallaaha ‘alaa kulli shay in qadiyrun-wa annallaaha qad ahaata bikulli shay in ilmaa. Allah-humma inni a’uthu bika min sharri nafsiy wa min sharri kulli daabbatin ants aakhithum bi naasiyatihaa inna rabiy ‘alaa siraatim mustaqiym.’

(Oh Allah, You are my Lord. There is nothing worthy of worship except You. I place all of my trust and reliance in You and You are the Lord of the Noble Throne. Whatever Allah wishes takes place, and whatever He does not desire, does not occur, and there is no power and no strength except in Allah, The Exalted, The Mighty. I know that Allah is Powerful over all things and that Allah has knowledge of all things. Oh Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my nafs (self) and from the evil of every crawling creature. You are master over them. Verily, You are Lord of the Straight Path.)

اللهم انت ربي لا اله الا انت عليك توكلت وانت رب العرش العظيم, ما شاء الله كان ومالم يشأ لم يكن, ولا حول ولا قوة الا بالله العلي العظيم, اعلم ان الله على كل شىء قدير, وان الله قد احاط بكل شيء علما, اللهم اني اعوذ بك من شر نفسي, ومن شر كل دابة انت آخذ بناصيتها, ان ربي على صراط مستقيم
Alahumma anta rebi la ilaha ila ant, khalacktanee, waana abduk, wa ana ala ahdick wa wahdick mstata-ht, authu bika min shree ma sana-ht, aboouh laka bi ni’mateeka aley, wa aboouh bi thenbee faghfirlee fa inawho la yeghfr uthunooba illa ant.’

(O Allah, You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave. I am faithful in my covenant and my promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.)

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتَ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
‘Allahumma ashlehlee deeni al lathee huwa ‘ismato amree wa asleh lee dunya ya allati feeha ma’ashi wa asleh lee aakhiratee allati feeha ma’adi waj al hayata zeeya-datal-li fee kullee khairan Waj-al mawta ra hatan lee min kullee sharree.’

(O Allah! Correct for me my faith, which is the guard of my affairs, make better my world where I have my livelihood, set right my hereafter where I have to return ultimately, make my life long, in every type of virtue, and make my death a comfort against all evils.

اللهم اصلح لي ديني الذي هو عصمة امري, واصلح لي دنياي التي فيها معاشي, واصلح لي اخرتي التي فيها معادي, واجعل الحياة زيادة لي في كل خير, واجعل الموت راحة لي من كل شر
“Subhanal lahi wa bi ham-di-hi ada-da Khal-qihi wa rida’a naf-sihi wa zina-ta ‘ar-shi-hi wa mida-da Kale-mate-hi.”
(Glory be to Allah and praise is due to Him, according to the number of His creation and according to His pleasure and corresponding to the weight of His Throne and as much as the ink [used in recording] His words). (thrice)

سبحان الله وبحمده عدد خلقه, ورضا نفسه, وزنة عرشه, ومداد كلماته
Abu Hurayrah (R.A) reported that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: 'Whoever says:

Lā ‘Ilāha 'Illāl-Lāhu Waĥdahu Lā Sharīka Lah, Lahul-Mulku Wa Lahul-Ĥamd, Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Shay’in Qadīr. (one hundred times)

'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.'

…a hundred times during the day, has the reward of freeing ten slaves, a hundred good deeds are recorded for him and a hundred bad deeds are wiped away and he has gained refuge from the devil that day until evening and none shall come with anything better except someone who has done more.'

لا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلْكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِيْرٌ(مَائَةَ مَرَّة
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Haiyul-Qaiyum La ta’khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm, lahu man fis-samawati wa ma fil-’ard Man dhal-ladhi yashfa’u ‘indahu illa bi-idhnihi Ya’lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuhituna bi shai’im-min ‘ilmihi illa bima sha’a Wasi’a kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard, wa la ya’uduhu hifdhuhuma Wa Huwal ‘Aliyul-Adheem

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî[] extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيم

اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Bismillaah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Amanar-rasulu bima unzila ilayhi min rabbihi wal-muminun
Kullun amana billahi wa mala ikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulih
La nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulih
Wa qalu sami'na wa a-ta'na ghufranaka rabbana wa ilaykal masir
La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha
Laha ma kasabat wa alayha maktasabat
Rabbana la tu akhidhna in nasina au akhta'na
Rabbana wa la tahmil alayna isran kama
Hamaltahu alalladhina min qablina
Rabbana wa la tuhammilna ma la taqata lanabih
Wa'fu anna, waghfir lana, warhamna
Anta maulana fansurna alal-qaumil-kafirin

The Messenger (Muhammad SAW) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allâh, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. (They say), “We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers” and they say, “We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all).” (285) Allâh burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. “Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maulâ (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”

بَسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ءامن الرسول بمآأنزل إليه من ربه والمؤمنون كل ءامن بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله لانفرق بين أحد من رسله وقالوا سمعنا وأطعنا غفرانك ربنا وإليك المصير*لايكلف الله نفساإلاوسعها لهاماكسبت وعليها مااكتسبت ربنا لا تؤاخذنآ إن نسينآ أو أخطأنا ربنا ولاتحمل عليناإصرا كما حملته على الذين من قبلنا ربنا ولاتحملنا مالا طاقة لنا به واعف عنا واغفرلنا وارحمنآ أنت مولانا فانصرنا على القوم الكافرين
Qul huwal-laahu aHadal-laahuS Samad lam yalid walam yuulad walam yakul-lahu kufuwan aHad

With the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: He is Allah (the) One. The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He begets not nor was He begotten, and there is none co-equal to Him.

(Recite these three times each in Arabic).

Narrated Saad: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Whoever takes seven 'Ajwa dates in the morning will not be effected by magic or poison on that day."

Sahih Muslim, Volume 7, Book 71, Number 671:


Narrated Sa'd: The Prophet said, “If somebody takes some ‘Ajwa dates every morning, he will not be effected by poison or magic on that day till night.” (Another narrator said seven dates). (Sahih Bukhari)


'Aisha reported Allah's Messenger as saying, "The 'ajwah dates of al-'Aliya taken as the first thing in the morning, in the state of fasting; contain healing for all (kinds of) magic or toxins." (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 23592)

Surah #3, Al Imran Verse 107- And as for those, whose faces are whitened, they are under the mercy of ALLAH; they shall abide in it.

چہرے کی خوبصورتی کیلئے یا اللّٰه وظیفہ

13 types of Heart Mentioned in Quran

13 قسم کے دل

ایک قرآنی ریسرچ کےمطابق ‘اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآن مجید میں 13 دلوں کا ذکر کیا ہے۔ یہ 13 قسم کے لوگ ہیں۔ آپ اللہ کی طرف سے 13 لوگوں کی تقسیم ملاحظہ کیجیے۔

1. قلب سلیم 

اللہ تعالیٰ کی نظر میں پہلا دل قلب سلیم ہے ‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو کفر‘ نفاق اور گندگی سے پاک ہوتے ہیں‘ قلب سلیم کے مالک لوگ ذہنی اور جسمانی گندگی بھی نہیں پھیلاتے اور یہ خود بھی نفاق اور کفر سے پاک رہتے ہیں اور دوسروں کو بھی ان سے بچا کر رکھتے ہیں‘ اللہ تعالیٰ کو یہ دل اچھے لگتے ہیں۔
(بِقَلْبٍ سَلِیْمٍؕ ، سورۃ الشعراء ، آیت 89)

2. قلب منیب 

دوسرا دل قلب منیب ہوتا ہے ‘یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو اللہ سے توبہ کرتے رہتے ہیں اور اس کی اطاعت میں مصروف رہتے ہیں‘آپ کو زندگی میں بے شمار ایسے لوگ ملیں گے جو سر تک اللہ تعالیٰ کی اطاعت میں گم رہتے ہیں‘ ان لوگوں کی واحد نشانی توبہ ہوتی ہے‘ یہ اللہ سے ہر وقت معافی اور توبہ کے خواستگار رہتے ہیں‘ اللہ تعالیٰ منیب لوگوں کو بھی پسند کرتا ہے۔
(بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِیْبِۙ ، سورۃ ق ، آیت 33)

3. قلب مخبت 

تیسرا دل قلب مخبت ہے ‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو جھکے ہوئے‘ مطمئن اور پرسکون ہوتے ہیں‘ میں نے زندگی میں عاجز لوگوں کو مطمئن اور پرسکون پایا‘ آپ بھی اگر سکون اور اطمینان چاہتے ہیں تو آپ بھی عاجزی اختیار کر لیں آپ کو سکون کی دوا نہیں کھانا پڑے گی۔عاجزی وہ واحد عبادت ہے جس کے بارے میں رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا تھا’’جو کوئی بھی اللہ کے لیے جھکتا ہے (عاجزی اختیار کرتا ہے) اللہ اس کو بلند کر دیتا ہے ‘‘چنانچہ اللہ تعالیٰ کو مخبت دل بھی پسند ہیں۔
(فَتُخْبِتَ لَهٗ قُلُوْبُهُمْ ، سورۃ الحج ، آیت 54)

4. قلب وجل 

چوتھا دل قلب وجل ہے‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو نیکی کے بعد بھی یہ سوچ کر ڈرتے رہتے ہیں کہ معلوم نہیں اللہ تعالیٰ ہماری یہ نیکی قبول کرے یا نہ کرے‘ یہ لوگ ہر لمحہ اللہ کے عذاب سے بھی ڈرتے رہتے ہیں‘ یہ بنیادی طور پر تاریخ پر گہری نظر رکھنے والے لوگ ہوتے ہیں‘ یہ جانتے ہیں اللہ نے اپنے انبیاء کو بھی غلطیوں کی سزا دی تھی‘ ہم کس کھیت کی مولی ہیں چنانچہ یہ اپنی بڑی سے بڑی نیکی کو بھی حقیر سمجھتے ہیں‘ اللہ کو یہ دل بھی پسند ہیں۔
(قُلُوْبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ ، سورۃ المؤمنون ، آیت 60)

5. قلب تقی 

پانچواں دل قلب تقی ہے‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے شعائر کی تعظیم کرتے ہیں‘ ہم میں سے بے شمار ایسے لوگ ہیں جو شعائر خداوندی پر مکمل عمل نہیں کر پاتے تاہم یہ ان شعائر کی عبادت کی طرح تعظیم کرتے ہیں‘ یہ لوگ اگر کسی مجبوری سے عبادت نہ کر سکیں تو بھی یہ روزہ داروں کے سامنے کھاتے پیتے نہیں ہیں اور یہ نماز اور اذان کے وقت خاموشی اختیار کرتے ہیں‘ اللہ تعالیٰ کو یہ لوگ بھی پسند ہیں۔
(تَقْوَى الْقُلُوْبِ ، سورۃ الحج ، آیت 32)

6. قلب مہدی 

چھٹا دل قلب مہدی ہے‘یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو اللہ کے فیصلوں پر بھی راضی رہتے ہیں اور یہ اللہ کے احکامات کو بھی بخوشی قبول کر لیتے ہیں‘ آپ نے ایسے لوگ دیکھے ہوں گے جو ہر برے واقعے کے بعد کہتے ہیں جو اللہ کی مرضی‘ جو اللہ چاہے‘ اللہ تعالیٰ کو یہ لوگ بھی پسند ہیں‘ میں نے زندگی میں کبھی ایسے لوگوں کو خسارے میں نہیں دیکھا‘ اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیشہ ان کے لیے برائی کے اندر سے اچھائی نکالتا ہے‘ لوگ ان کے لیے شر کرتے ہیں لیکن اللہ اس شر سے خیر نکال دیتا ہے۔
( یَهْدِ قَلْبَهٗ ، سورۃ التغابن ، آیت 11)

7. قلب مطمئن 

ساتواں دل قلب مطمئن ہے‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہوتے ہیں جن کو اللہ کی توحید اور ذکر سے سکون ملتا ہے‘ قلب مطمئن بنیادی طور پر صرف اور صرف اللہ پر یقین رکھتا ہے‘ یہ دن رات اللہ کا ذکر (تسبیحات) بھی کرتا رہتا ہے‘تسبیحات کرنے والے لوگ واقعی مطمئن اور خوش رہتے ہیں‘ آپ بھی اگر ملال اور حزن سے بچنا چاہتے ہیں تو آپ تسبیح شروع کر دیں‘ آپ کا دل اطمینان اور خوشی سے بھر جائے گا‘ درود شریف اور لاحول ولا قوۃ الاباللہ بہترین تسبیحات ہیں‘ آپ ان کو معمول بنا لیں ‘ اللہ کو یہ لوگ بھی پسند ہیں۔
( تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوْبُؕ ، سورۃ الرعد ، آیت 28)

8. قلب حئی 

آٹھواں دل قلب حئی ہے ‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو اللہ کی نافرمان قوموں کا انجام سن کر ان سے عبرت اور نصیحت حاصل کرتے ہیں‘ ہم میں سے جو لوگ کم تولنے‘ جھوٹ بولنے‘ شر پھیلانے‘ شرک‘ کفر اور تکبر کرنے‘ برائی کی ترویج کرنے اور بچوں‘ عورتوں اور جانوروں پر ظلم کرنے والوں کا انجام سن اور دیکھ کر توبہ کر لیتے ہیں اور اپنی زندگیاں ان گناہوں سے پاک کر لیتے ہیں اللہ کی نظر میں وہ لوگ قلب حئی ہوتے ہیں اور اللہ انھیں بھی پسند کرتا ہے۔
(قَلْبٌ اَوْ اَلْقَى ،  سورۃ ق ، آیت 37)

9. قلب مریض 

نواں دل قلب مریض ہیں‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو شک‘ نفاق‘ بداخلاقی‘ ہوس اور لالچ کا شکار ہوتے ہیں‘ ہم لوگ لالچ‘ ہوس‘ بداخلاقی‘ نفاق اور شک کو عادتیں سمجھتے ہیں جب کہ حقیقت میں یہ روح اور دماغ کی بیماریاں ہیں اور جو لوگ ان بیماریوں کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں وہ اذیت ناک زندگی گزارتے ہیں‘ اللہ ان لوگوں اور ان کے دلوں کو مریض سمجھتا ہے‘ میرا دعویٰ ہے آپ اپنی زندگی میں صرف شک کا مرض پال لیں آپ چند برسوں میں دل‘ پھیپھڑوں‘گردوں اور جسمانی دردوں کی دوائیں کھانے پر مجبور ہو جائیں گے اور آپ بس شک کی عادت ترک کر دیں آپ کی ادویات کم ہونے لگیں گی‘ آزمائش شرط ہے۔
(قَلْبِهٖ مَرَضٌ ، سورۃ الاحزاب ، آیت 32)

10. قلب الاعمی 

دسواں دل قلب الاعمی ہے‘ یہ وہ دل (لوگ) ہیں جو دیکھتے ہیں اور نہ سنتے ہیں‘ یہ بے حس لوگ ہوتے ہیں‘ اللہ تعالیٰ انھیں اندھے اور بہرے لوگ سمجھتا ہے اور مومنوں کو حکم دیتا ہے تم بس انھیں سلام کرو اور آگے نکل جائو‘ یہ بنیادی طور پر وہ لوگ ہوتے ہیں جن سے قدرت بھی مایوس ہو جاتی ہے‘جب اور جہاں بھی یہ لوگ ملیں ان سے فوراً کردہ اور ناکردہ گناہوں کی معافی مانگیں اور آگے چل پڑیں‘ یقین کیجیے زندگی میں بہت سکون ہوگااور جب بھی انہیں سمجھانے کی کوشش کریں گے آپ کا بلڈ پریشر بڑھ جائےگاچنانچہ آپ بھی اللہ کی نصیحت پر عمل کریں‘ انھیں سلام کریں اور آگے نکل جائیں۔

11. قلب اللاھی 

گیارہواں دل قلب اللاھی ہے‘ یہ وہ دل ہے جو قرآن سے غافل اور دنیا کی رنگینیوں میں مگن ہے‘ اللہ ان غافل لوگوں کو بھی پسند نہیں کرتا اور یہ بھی بالآخر عبرت کا نشان بن جاتے ہیں۔
(لَاهِیَةً قُلُوْبُهُمْ ، سورۃ الانبیاء ، آیت 3)

12. قلب ا لآثم 

بارہواں دل قلب ا لآثم ہے‘ یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو حق پر پردہ ڈالتے اور گواہی چھپاتے ہیں‘ آپ تاریخ پڑھ لیں آپ گواہی چھپانے اور حق پر پردہ ڈالنے والے معاشروں اور لوگوں کو تباہ ہوتے دیکھیں گے‘ اللہ کو یہ لوگ بھی پسند نہیں۔
(اٰثِمٌ قَلْبُهٗ ، سورۃ البقرہ ، آیت 283)

13. قلب متکبر 

تیرہواں اور آخری دل متکبرہوتا ہے‘ یہ لوگ تکبر اور سرکشی میں مبتلا ہوتے ہیں‘ یہ اپنی دین داری کو بھی گھمنڈ بنا لیتے ہیں یوں یہ ظلم اور جارحیت کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں‘ کبر اللہ کا وصف ہے‘ اللہ یہ وصف کسی انسان کے پاس برداشت نہیں کرتا چنانچہ معاشرہ ہو‘ ملک ہو یا پھر لوگ ہوں تاریخ گواہ ہے یہ فرعون اور نمرود کی طرح عبرت کا نشان بن جاتے ہیں‘ دنیا میں آج تک کسی مغرور شخص کو عزت نصیب نہیں ہوئی‘ وہ آخر میں رسوائی اور ذلت تک پہنچ کر رہا‘ اللہ کو یہ دل بھی پسند نہیں۔
(قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ ، سورۃ المؤمن ، آیت 35)

آپ ان 13 دلوں کو سامنے رکھیں اور اپنے دل کو ٹٹول کر دیکھیں‘ آپ کے سینے میں اگر کوئی برا دل ہے تو آپ توبہ کریں اور اچھے دل کی طرف لوٹ جائیں‘ اللہ تعالیٰ آپ پر اپنے کرم اور فضل کے دروازے کھول دے گا‘ آپ یقین کر لیں اللہ کے سوا اس دنیا میں کوئی طاقت نہیں‘ یہ اگر آپ کے ساتھ ہے تو پھر کوئی آپ کا کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکتا اور اگر آپ کو اس کاساتھ نصیب نہیں تو پھر آپ کو کوئی نہیں بچا سکتا‘ آپ خواہ فرعون ہوں یا نمرود آپ عبرت بن کر رہیں گے۔
