Salt for Silencing the Tongue (Immediate and Permanent)
At the time of zawāl (when the sun begins to decline after midday), take a small amount of rock salt. While thinking of the person whose tongue you want to silence, recite “Ya Qāti‘u” (O Cutter / O One Who Cuts Off) 313 times over the salt and blow on it (dam). Then throw the salt into the fire.
As the salt burns, the intensity of the enemy’s speech against you is believed to diminish, and their ability to speak against you will be silenced.
Perform this practice for three days.
For permission (ijāzah), recite Surah Al-Ikhlas once and offer it as a spiritual dedication (hadiyah).
